Sensory Studies can also be divided along sensory lines into, for example, visual culture, auditory culture (or sound studies), smell culture, taste culture and the culture of touch, not to mention the sixth sense (however it might be defined)

Research Bio – Caroline McMillan

Caroline McMillan is a doctoral student at RMIT University, Melbourne, and a design practitioner with a background of over two decades working in forecasting, and the global fashion and textile industry. Her work connects fashion wearables, human-computer interaction and the ethical design and use of technology through critical practice. Research interests include multi-sensory design, digital olfaction, and soft robotic systems in networked infrastructures.
